Dane Wright is a professional archaeologist from South Yorkshire, England and has been involved in archaeology since 2007. He has worked on a range of projects and time periods, from the excavation of a Neolithic Henge, to 19th century canal boats.
Dane’s passion lies with 20th century military and political history, in particular the Great War. He has been lucky enough to be involved in many Great war projects, from Thiepval Wood with the Somme Association in 2014, to working and living in Belgium 2018-2019 excavating, recording and photographing archaeological sites and artefacts relating to the Great war. He is currently the co-lead archaeologist for the Hawthorn Ridge Crater Association.
